When you use your GoCard abroad or on international websites, it will still deduct from your GBP balance. Visa will take care of the currency conversion using its exchange rate.
This isn’t the same as the rate you see in the app when exchanging between your TransferGo wallets. To avoid Visa fees, you might want to exchange to the local currency within the app first.
