Verifying your ID is a crucial step to ensure the security and authenticity of your TransferGo Business profile. Follow the simple steps below to get verified quickly.
Step 1: Access Your Business Profile
- Open your Business Profile: Log in to your TransferGo account.
- Navigate to Verification: Click the “Business” button in the upper right corner of your screen and select the “Verification” section.
- Start Verification: Click on “Verify now” to begin the process.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Personal Documents Only: Please upload only your personal identification document—no pictures of credit or debit cards.
- Valid and Current Documents: Ensure that your ID document is valid and up-to-date.
- Full Visibility: The information on your document must be fully visible:
- Passport: Must display your full name, date of birth, valid expiration date, and the full MRZ code.
- ID Card / Driving License / Residence Permit: Must show your full name, date of birth, valid expiration date, and other essential details. Remember to upload both sides of the document.
- Clear, High-Quality Photos: Make sure your document photos are clear. You can use your mobile device to take photos. Ensure the uploaded picture is in color and with all details clearly visible.
- Security Note: We cannot accept ID documents via email for security reasons.
Please note: We may request additional documents or ask you to upload a video of yourself, even if you follow all the steps above. These measures help us better protect our customers from fraud.
Step 2: Scan and Upload Your Document
- Use Your Smartphone or Computer Camera: Scan the QR code using your smartphone camera or a front-facing computer camera. Allow your camera to take pictures.
If you don't have a smartphone, click "Don't have a smartphone? Continue with your current device." Then, allow your browser to use your computer camera. - Upload Your ID Document:
- Take a photo of your valid ID document. Below are the accepted documents:
- A valid international passport.
- A valid ID card (plastic, only for EU and EEA countries).
- A valid driving license (permanent, UK only).
- A valid permanent residence permit (exclusively for residents of the United Kingdom, Lithuania, and Turkey).
- Take a clear, well-lit photo of yourself using your mobile or computer camera. Ensure your face is clearly visible. Occasionally, we might ask you to take a selfie holding your ID document.
- Please refrain from submitting photos of ID documents that are displayed on other devices, such as taking a picture of a computer screen showing the document.
- Take a photo of your valid ID document. Below are the accepted documents:
Step 3: Await Verification
Once you’ve uploaded your ID document and selfie, you’ll receive a confirmation from us within minutes. We’ll complete your transfer as quickly as possible.
- If Verification is Unsuccessful: You’ll receive a notification explaining why the verification failed. You may need to repeat the procedure.
