ID verification is a crucial step to ensure the security and authenticity of your TransferGo Business profile. Follow these simple steps to get verified quickly:
Step 1: Access to Business Profile
- Open your Business Profile: Log in to your TransferGo account.
- Go to Verification: Click the "Business" button in the upper right corner of the screen and select the "Verification" section.
- Start Verification: Click “Verify Now” to begin the process.
Things to Remember
- Personal Documents Only: Please submit only identification—no images of credit or debit cards.
- Valid and Current Documents: Make sure your ID is valid and current.
- Full Visibility: The information on the document must be fully visible:
- Passport: Must include full name, date of birth, valid expiry date and full MRZ code.
- ID Card / Driving License / Residence Card: Must include full name, date of birth, valid expiration date and other relevant details. Remember to send both sides of the document.
- Clear, High Quality Photos: Make sure that the photos of the documents are clear. You can use a mobile device to take the photos. Make sure that the photo you upload is in color and that all the details are clearly visible.
- Security Notice: For security reasons, we cannot accept ID documents sent via email.
Please note: We may ask for additional documentation or a video of you even if you follow the steps above. These measures help us better protect our customers from fraud.
Step 2: Scan and Upload Document
- Use Smartphone or Computer Camera: Scan the QR code with your smartphone camera or computer camera. Let the camera take pictures.
- If you don't have a smartphone, click "Don't have a smartphone? Continue on your current device." Then allow the browser to use your computer's camera.
- Submit your Identity Document:
- Take a photo of a valid ID. Below are acceptable documents:
- Valid international passport.
- Valid ID card (plastic, only for EU and EEA countries).
- Valid driving licence (permanent, UK only).
- Valid permanent residence card (for residents of the UK, Lithuania and Turkey only).
- Take a clear, well-lit photo of your face using your phone or computer camera. Make sure your face is clearly visible. Sometimes we may ask you to take a selfie with your ID in your hand.
- Take a photo of a valid ID. Below are acceptable documents:
Please do not submit photos of your ID documents displayed on other devices, for example photos of the computer screen on which the document is displayed.
Step 3: Waiting for Verification
- Once you have submitted your ID and selfie, you will receive a confirmation from us within minutes. We will process your transaction as quickly as possible.
- If Verification Failed: You will receive a notification explaining why verification failed. You may need to repeat the process.
