Why tap-to-pay doesn’t work
Contactless payments use a special security step, which our virtual GoCard doesn’t support yet—so it can’t be used in stores.
Why it works online
When you pay online with Google Pay, it uses a normal online payment method, allowing the transaction to process successfully as a secure e-commerce payment. That’s why those payments go through.

Use your physical GoCard. It’s fully set up for contactless Google Pay payments.
