If your physical GoCard has been stolen, it's crucial to act immediately to protect your funds. Please follow these steps:
- Freeze or remove your card in the app.: You can do this directly through the TransferGo mobile app or by contacting TransferGo Customer Support.
- Order a new GoCard: Once blocked, you can order a replacement physical GoCard through the app for a £4.99 replacement-card fee.
- Review your transactions: Carefully check your TransferGo activity list for any unauthorised transactions.
- Report suspicious activity: If you find any transactions you don't recognise, report them to TransferGo Customer Support.
- Consider filing a police report: For a stolen card and unauthorised transaction, it is advisable to file a police report in your local area. However, if you have managed to block your GoCard on time and you don’t see any suspicious activity, there is no need to report it to the police.
If your device (phone/tablet) with your GoCard details on it has been lost or stolen, you should also immediately freeze all linked cards in the TransferGo app, change your TransferGo account password, and re-login to your account on a secure device.
