Noticed Suspicious or Unexpected GoCard Activity?

Suppose you notice an unrecognised transaction or suspect fraudulent activity on your GoCard. In that case, you must report the transaction in your TransferGo app, by accessing the Help section and then clicking on “Chat with us”.

1. Review Your Purchases 

Check your recent receipts and orders. Sometimes merchant names on statements look different. 

2. Check Subscriptions

Look for free trials or subscriptions that renew automatically. 

3. Ask Family or Authorised Users 

Someone else on your account may have made the purchase. 

4. Consider Holds or Split Payments 

Hotels, fuel stations, and some services may bill in parts or later. 

5. Look Up the Merchant 

Search the billing name online to see who it really is. 

6. Think It is Fraud? 

Block your card immediately and report the transaction using one of the two methods below:

Option 1: Call our Support Line

  • Dial +441325796455.
  • Verify your identity by providing a few personal details from your profile.
  • Block your card directly over the phone to secure your account instantly.

Option 2: Use Help-Chat

  • Start a chat via "Help-Chat with us."
  • Provide the details: Have the specific transaction ID ready.
  • Select the reason: Choose "Unrecognised transaction or suspected fraud."
  • Follow the prompts: The chatbot will guide you through the rest of the process, which may include asking for a few additional details about the transaction.
