How to provide proof of payment when using someone else’s card

Proof of payment documents help us connect the person ordering a transaction to the bank account funding it. This is especially important when you’re using someone else’s card.

If you made the payment using someone else’s bank account or credit/debit card, please give us that person's information. We'll need: 

  • Their full name
  • Their date of birth
  • Their nationality
  • Their country of residence 

We also need a proof of payment: a bank statement or screenshot from the cardholder's online banking which shows the outgoing payment to TransferGo.

This document must contain:

  • the sender’s name and surname
  • the payment amount sent to TransferGo
  • the date the payment was made

If you paid through Apple Pay, as well as the document mentioned above, please send a screenshot from Apple Pay (with the card number and device account number visible). 

You can find this information within your Apple device. 

Go to: Settings –> Wallet & Apple Pay —> Select your card (if you have more than one). After you select the card, just take a screenshot. 

This must also contain:

  • the sender’s name and surname
  • the payment amount sent to TransferGo
  • the date the payment was made
