Getting started

Before you make a transfer, make sure that you:

Create an accurate profile 

It’s important that you enter your real name, surname, current address, email address and phone number in your profile. This will prevent delays and allow us to contact you when we need to.


Add your own card

Please make sure that you only use your own card or bank account as payment methods. They should match the name and addresses you entered in your profile, or the transaction won’t go through.

Confirm the account is yours

If your transfer exceeds more than 900 GBP (or equivalent), or if you’re making a second transfer, you will need to confirm that the account is yours. You can find more information on account confirmation here.

Pay in the same amount as you entered in your transfer order

For the order to go through, you need to send TransferGo the exact same amount as you entered in your transfer order. All fees are included, so there’s no need to add any extra fees or expenses. 

You can’t send cash

TransferGo only handles bank transfers and card payments, so you and your receivers will need active bank accounts.
